Solar Installer

Trinity Solar, one of the nation's leading residential solar companies, is looking for a Solar Installer to play a hands-on role in bringing solar energy systems to life. You'll help install high-quality solar systems that allow homeowners and businesses to reduce their energy costs and environmental impact.

This is a hands-on, field-based role that's ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to build a career in the growing clean energy industry. You'll work closely with fellow installers and site supervisors to complete installations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and industry standards.

Compensation: $19 - $24 / hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops and other structures in accordance with design schematics, local building codes, and safety standards.
• Ensure proper system layout, orientation, and alignment for maximum efficiency and compliance.
• Assess job site conditions for safety hazards and structural integrity before and during installation.
• Work closely with team members and site supervisors to resolve installation challenges and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain accurate installation documentation, including photos, site layouts, and other required details.
• Complete and submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe throughout the installation process.
• Support additional installation responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work at heights for extended periods, including climbing ladders, working on rooftops, and navigating uneven surfaces.
• Dependable work ethic with strong punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, kneeling, standing, and lifting for extended periods.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to travel to job sites or the company office as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical work, roofing, solar installation, or a related field preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors and at heights for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb ladders, work on rooftops, and navigate uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
