Job Title: Solar Installer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Solar Installers for a ground mount solar installation project in Moab, UT. This position will span 9-10 weeks and focuses on assembling, installing, and maintaining ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role requires working outdoors, performing physical labor, and ensuring all installations adhere to safety, quality, and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Install racking, modules, wiring, and balance-of-system components for ground-mount solar arrays.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as post drivers, trenchers, and skid steers.
• Follow project plans, layout drawings, and electrical diagrams.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety requirements and company quality standards.
• Assist with site preparation, trenching, conduit installation, and equipment staging.
• Troubleshoot basic installation issues and support commissioning activities.
• Work collaboratively with crew leads and team members to meet project timelines.

Essential Skills

• Experience in solar installation, construction, or general labor.
• Must have fall protection certificate prior to starting.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in solar, construction, or related trades preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Moab, UT.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
