Each counter is helmed by chefs drawn from Japan's top 100 restaurants, delivering an immersive, counter-only dining experience built on the art of omotenashi. From Edomae sushi to open-flame craft, every seat is a rare, close encounter with the true essence of Japanese cuisine.

Opening in West Hollywood and Las Vegas in 2026 followed by locations in New York. Tenshou Collection is assembling its founding teams now — culinary, front of house, and management. Be part of something exceptional.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Host is the emotional gateway to the TENSHOU experience. Before a single dish is served, you have already shaped the guest’s emotional state for the entire evening. Your role is not to manage arrivals — it is to make every person feel expected, welcomed, and genuinely important from the first second.

• Own the reservation list completely — research all guests before service begins.
• Greet every arrival by name within 3 seconds. No guest stands unacknowledged.
• Escort every guest personally to their seat — never point, never gesture.
• Manage pacing and flow of arrivals in coordination with the Captain and floor team.
• Execute the farewell (Omiokuri) for every guest — escort to the exit, use their name, mean it.
• Manage all reservation platforms, walk-in requests, and waitlist communications.
• Communicate special occasions, VIPs, and dietary notes to the team before service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in a luxury or fine dining host role preferred.
• Professional, warm, and composed demeanor under pressure.
• Excellent verbal communication — clear, graceful, articulate.
• Proficiency with reservation management systems (Resy, OpenTable).
• Bilingual (English/Japanese) a strong plus.
• Valid Food Handler Card
• Authorization to work in the United States
